Being a FULLY ENGAGED disciple | Network 20 Retreat in the Philippines
Wednesday, March 17, 2021
Network 20 International
Network 20 exists to fully engage young men as disciples of Jesus. This April we have the opportunity to engage disciples of Jesus and others in Kyrgyzstan.
Lord willing, Ed Hatt (a long-time Network 20 friend) and I (Gary Wybenga) will leave for Kyrgyzstan on March 31, 2021. Some of our primary leaders in Kyrgyzstan—Edil, Aziz, and Aitbek (see photo of Aitbek and one of his disciples)—will host us.
The Fully Engaged Mission—Kyrgyzstan will be for three weeks. Ed will join for the first week. The second week I will be in Karakol and the third week I will be ministering in Osh. I return on April 24. The Fully Engaged Mission will focus on three goals . . . 1. Encourage Network 20 leaders and participants as disciples of Jesus. 2. Spread the message of what it means to be a fully engaged disciple of Jesus. 3. Build relationships through conversation with local leaders who make disciples.
One of our Kyrgyz leaders wrote, “The Kyrgyzstan Christian youth movement is slow-moving. The youth here have a lot of disappointments in terms of money, career, future, etc., that influence how they accept the Gospel. Kyrgyz guys have big potential and great skills can be found in them when they put their energies in the right direction. The best way to influence a non-believer is through a close relationship.” Network 20 is focused on highly relational, disciple-making relationships centered on God.
Will you invest in this opportunity? Please visit the Network 20 International website to donate.
