-Promise of entering His rest still stands

-God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” 

-Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Topic: The Importance of Sabbath Day

This law of the sabbath is still binding to us on our Lord's day.

I.  The Sabbath is to be Sanctified. v13

     Let's consider sabbath as "holy."

        1.  Nothing must be done that puts contempt on the sabbath.

        2.  We must call it delight, not a task and a burden.

II.  The Reward of Sabbath- sanctification. v.14

     1.  We will have the comfort of it.

     2.  We will have the honor of it.

     3.  We will have the profit of it.
