Fulfilling The Great Commission

One of our vision is to plant new churches in different areas not only in Batangas province but the whole country and beyond as God leads us.  We are grateful to have men and women who desires to learn and serve the Lord according to the gifts God has given them.

It is also a blessing to meet new friends and organizations that partners with us to provide the necessary training for church planting work.  Last month our young leaders participated in training the next generation for forming a new church. Our specific goal is to plant eight more churches by 2020 to add to our 2 existing congregations namely CSF Batangas City and CSF San Pascual, Batangas. It is only by His grace to be able to fulfill the great commission and the best way is none other than planting more churches.

Little Stewards Club

One of the ministry where our church started is the ministry with the children. And now, we are blessed to have teacher volunteers who had the same passion of reaching children and teaching them about the love of God.  Children are part of the church and this group should be considered a mission group for they too have spiritual needs to know about the  Gospel.

Having an opportunity to be a recipient of materials and resources for children through other organization is a big help for us.

Last June 9, 2018 we distributed Samaritan Purse shoe boxes to selected children because of the limited number of gifts allotted to our church.  Though not all were given with God's wisdom the teachers were able to manage the gift distribution in their areas. Our active communities with continuous training center for children are: Pallocan West, Bry. Cuta, Brgy 21& 24, Dumantay, Alangilan, Brgy. Sambat in San Pascual hosted by our daughter church and the newly opened center in is Libjo Central Batangas City.

Another opportunity for the development of our Children's Ministry was the training conducted in Pasay - Grace from Heaven Christian Church.  Missions team from Grace Community Church came to teach the Generations of Grace. Our church was blessed to also have a free copy of the children's material.  This is the current series in the Little Stewards Club classes.

We urge you to support us in this ministry as how God is touching your heart.  This coming December, we are planning to reach the parents of the children by blessing their families with Christmas Gift.

CSF goes to Libjo

Christ Stewards Fellowship was blessed to have found its new home in Libjo Central, Batangas City.  We have been praying so long to have a new place of worship. This venue was indeed a God-given gift for the church because of the kind hearts of the couple Bro. Jorge and Sis. Rose Abas.  They were blessed to acquire a property in the said place and let the church use a portion in this brand new building.  The medical mission was planned since last year.  This January, we were all thinking if the new building would really be the possible venue to conduct the medical mission since it was still under construction and the following month, Bro. Jorge was diagnosed to have a tumor in the junction of his esophagus and  stomach which was already in Stage 4.  Though it was tough for the family, Bro. Jorge was determined to let the construction go through so the building will be finished to be used for the scheduled medical mission.  March 21, 2018 Bro. Jorge goes home with the Lord and it was a struggle for the family if they can continue on with the construction considering the finances.  We saw how God's provision and wisdom guided them and the building was available at the date of the medical mission.  Bro Jorge has been helping different ministries through his skills in construction.  And our current church building will is testament of his generosity and faithful service to the Lord.

This medical mission will not be possible without Medmission 2000 who partnered with us.  A lot of medical professionals volunteered to serve all the patients who came for the 3-day event.  And served as an opportunity also for the church to share the love of Christ through medical service and an opportunity of sharing the Gospel as well.  More than 500 patients were served receiving free medical consultation, tooth extraction, circumcision, minor surgeries; all patients received free medicines suited for their conditions.  This has provided a way for the church to create a good image in the new community because of the rendered service.

June 2 - Thanksgiving and Building Dedication Service.  Sis. Rose Abas testifying how God worked in their family.  Her sensitivity in the leading of the Holy Spirit, obedience to God's Words was the key of God out pouring blessings in their life.  God works even in the most impossible ways when it is His will it shall be done.

June 3, 2018 marks another history of Christ Stewards Fellowship for it is the First Worship Service held in Jorose Building, Libjo, Batangas City.  It was also our privilege to have Dr. Tony Gatdula Founder/Ministry Leader of Medmision 2000 to speak in our Worship Service.

CSF - San Pascual Celebrates their 3rd Anniversary

One of the things we are grateful to God is that we were able to plant a daughter church in another municipality of Batangas City - San Pascual.  Now this church is continually growing with the help of our church planter Ptr. Eric Cedo with his Family.

The celebration is themed "Be rooted and Built up with Christ" Colossians 2:7; held April 28, 2018.  Rev. Melencio Datuin was invited as the guest speaker, who has always been supportive since we are yet starting the ministry in Batangas City.

It was our joy that this church was able to minister to new Christian and helping them grow in their Spiritual relationship with Christ. As the church grows it is also a relief for the church to have Zander and Ailee Quitain - our newly wed couples to be of help to Ptr. Eric ministering to the believers in San Pascual.

We uphold you to keep this church in your prayers. That they may continually grow. Bless the ministers that are laboring here for the sake of the Gospel.

Breaking Your Vessel

Mark 14:3-9

Have you heard of the touching story about a little girl from a poor family who loved attending Sunday School, but there were so many children and the church was so small that she sometimes couldn’t get in? The later died and the pastor of the church was called to handle her service. It was discovered that she had been saving money to help pay for a larger church. It amounted to 57 cents. That 57 cents became the spark for a series of fund-raising movements that resulted in the buildings of Temple Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Temple University, Good Samaritan Hospital, and a large Sunday School building. Her name Hattie May Wiatt and her church is Grace Baptist Church of Philly pastored by Rev. Conwell. The first sermon sermon he delivered was in 1912 for the child's gift. Resulted in one of the most remarkable stories about giving to God.

Our message for this morning is one of the most fascinating testimonies about a woman having a gift that was no ordinary. So her life turn extra ordinary for she learned to give and laid it in the Master's hands. She was not a judge like Deborah or queen like Esther or any book in the Bible was named after her like Ruth. She is Mary of Bethany. Her life testimony was immortalized for she learned and discovered that love is greater than life, cause is greater than the cost, communion is better than convenience and devotion is greater than dream. What Jesus did to her is beyond compare. Her life testimony became unending.
How can our life be immortalized? Let us see the pattern.

1. She was chosen to fulfill her purpose. 14:3
What is a gift if it did not touch the recepient? In this case, very rarely, Jesus was in the receiving end. Can we give something that can touch the heart of Christ?

2. She gave her best to fulfill her purpose. 14:4-6
Three hundred dinarii is equal to a year wages but she was not hesitant to offer to Him. In fact she insisted it. For a woman like her, this gesture is remarkable. As what the Bible said, for where your treasure is then your heart will be also. The Lord put these things in her heart. She was the one who sat at the foot of Jesus to receive what cannot be taken away from her. When the time came to anticipate what Jesus will do, she was there to anoint Him. She was able to understand Christ next move. She must be listening to the heart beat of the one who saved her.

3. She brake the vessel. 14:8-9
What is the meaning of breaking the vessel? She could just pour it on Jesus' head for the flask is as expensive as the imported perfume from India. Mary has something to convey in her action. She meant that if her gift will not be received she will not use it for anything else.
She just wanted to say, "Lord if you will not use me then I will not be used by anyone." Let God break your box as what Savior did to this woman. Let the Lord softened your heart!

Have you ever experience breaking your vessel? Did Christ receive it fully?
